Internship Opportunities
Position: Engineering Internship
Duration: July 1, 2011 – September 15, 2011 (Full Time)
Location: GOSB Teknopark, Gebze – Kocaeli – Turkey
Internship Details
Considering the fact that you will be participating in the internship challenge to achieve the big price of being hired as a full time engineer, during the internship period you will receive tasks – see details below – which have to be completed as quickly and accurately as possible to get high scores.
• Basic tasks involving introduction to mobile network optimization (Radio Network Engineering)
• Introduction to P.I.Works’ proprietary tools – P.I.Web and P.I.NCPR- and performing bug fixes (Software Test Engineering)
• Familiarization with issue tracking systems, such as Jira
• Installation and Integration (Software Support Engineering)
• Data integrity checks (Software Support Engineering)
• Testing your programming knowledge (Software Development Engineering)
• Translation addition to P.I.Works Platform (Software Development Engineering)
In addition to all these tasks, you may also receive extra work that is not mentioned above.
At the end of the Internship Challenge, the total scores you have achieved from each task you have completed are added up and the interns who reach the required score will receive a full time engineering job offer to work at P.I.Works with a competitive salary and exceptional benefits package provided to each of our employees.
Required Qualifications
• Graduating this summer (June 2011) or being a recent graduate from a 4 year university program, preferably related to computers, electronics or telecommunications engineering.
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic team player
• Excellent verbal skills in English
